Day by Day
Venturing into the 'Land of Giants,' you will explore Tarangire’s golden savannahs and seasonal marshes. Following a scenic riverside picnic lunch, spend the afternoon tracking the park’s immense elephant herds and diverse birdlife.
Ascend the dramatic Rift Valley escarpment and traverse the Ngorongoro Highlands toward the Serengeti. After a picnic lunch at Naabi Hill, enjoy a sunset game drive as you enter the world's most famous wildlife sanctuary.
Witness the plains come alive during a sunrise game drive, the prime hour for spotting active predators. After further exploration of the central Serengeti, you will travel towards the lush highlands of Ngorongoro for a restful evening.
Descend 600 metres into the world’s largest intact caldera for a full day of spectacular wildlife viewing. This garden of Eden is one of the few places to spot the rare black rhino alongside lions and hippos by the lake.
Conclude your adventure at Lake Manyara, a verdant park famed for its soda lake and tree-climbing lions. After a final photographic game drive through the groundwater forest, you will be driven back to Arusha.
The dry season from June to October offers the most prolific wildlife sightings as animals congregate around water sources. January and February are also excellent for witnessing the calving season in the Serengeti.
