Day by Day
Morning transfer to Arusha airport and a one-hour flight over the Rift Valley escarpment onto the plains. Your guide meets you at the airstrip for an afternoon game drive.
Dawn and afternoon game drives in the central Serengeti — kopjes, rivers and big cats — with a relaxed lunch at camp between drives.
Range further today — toward the migration herds in season, or the resident prides along the Seronera River. Optional balloon flight at dawn.
A last Serengeti morning, then fly to Lake Manyara airstrip and drive up into the Ngorongoro highlands for a cool green evening on the crater's shoulder.
Descend into the crater for a final game drive among rhino and lion, picnic at the hippo pool, then transfer to Arusha or the airport for departure.
