Day by Day
Depart Arusha for Tarangire, famous for its giant baobabs and the largest elephant population in Tanzania. Enjoy a game drive focused on predator sightings and riverbank activity, followed by a picnic lunch overlooking the Tarangire River.
Journey toward the Serengeti, transiting the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands with a panoramic stop at the Crater viewpoint. Enter the Seronera Valley for an afternoon game drive, seeking out big cats against the backdrop of an African sunset.
Devote a full day to tracking the Great Migration and resident wildlife across the central Serengeti. Your guide will tailor the route based on real-time animal movements to ensure the best possible sightings of hunts and herd behavior.
Embark on a sunrise game drive to witness the savannah waking up, followed by a late breakfast at camp. Enjoy en-route game viewing as you depart the Serengeti for your lodge perched near the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Descend 600 metres into the world’s largest intact caldera for a morning of spectacular wildlife viewing, including the chance to spot endangered Black Rhino. After a picnic lunch on the crater floor, ascend and return to the lush Mto wa Mbu area.
Explore the groundwater forests of Lake Manyara, home to baboons, flamingos, and elusive tree-climbing lions. Visit the hippo pool and hot springs before concluding your safari with a drive back to Arusha.
The dry season from July to October offers the most concentrated wildlife sightings around water sources. For the wildebeest migration, the timing varies, but the Serengeti remains spectacular year-round.
