Day by Day
Depart Arusha for a scenic drive to Tarangire, a park celebrated for its majestic baobab trees and significant elephant populations. Spend the day tracking predators and herbivores before enjoying a riverside picnic lunch amidst the playful local primates.
Journey toward the Serengeti via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, stopping for panoramic views of the crater. An optional visit to a Maasai Boma offers a glimpse into traditional cultures before entering the Seronera Valley for a late afternoon game drive.
Dedicate a full day to exploring the vast Serengeti plains, following the movements of the great herds and resident big cats. This flexible day allows for deep exploration of the north, south, or west depending on the season's best wildlife sightings.
Enjoy a final sunrise game drive in the heart of the Serengeti to catch predators at their most active. After a leisurely brunch, traverse the plains back toward the Ngorongoro rim, keeping a keen eye out for wildlife during the transit.
Descend 600 metres into the world's largest intact caldera for a morning of unparalleled game viewing, including a chance to see the elusive rhino. After a picnic lunch on the crater floor, begin the return journey to Arusha.
The dry season from June to October offers the most predictable wildlife sightings as animals congregate around water sources. The calving season in the southern Serengeti during January and February is also a spectacular time for predator sightings.
